He made it! We went for his surgery early this morning. It took about 15 minutes and he was done! He's doing great. The doctor was very thorough and said that his ears were formed correctly and there were no issues stemming from the cleft. He also said Kaden had something called "glue ear." Meaning that the fluid behind his eardrum had been there so long it was really goopy. It took a special size tube to get it all out. He said that was having an impact on his hearing and now he may be a little sensitive to loud noises. I will say that may be true because he gets startled everytime the clock chimes. It never bothered him before! We came home around 9:30 and took a long nap and he seems to be feeling really well. He's playing and actually eating his lunch with a smile!
Thank you so much for all of your prayers! We would not be able to make it without God and your prayers!

Yeah! So glad to hear it went well and he's feeling better. I know you guys are relieved. That blasted clock....I guess the person who gave it to you wasn't a very nice person...ha!

You are right....God gets us through every minute of every day. Without Him where would we be.

Love you guys and we'll continue to pray for Kaden's recovery.
