What Makes Me Smile

My friend Heathalee is asking everyone what makes them smile.

While I'm feeling a little lazy I think instead of searching my house,I will search my picture files to show you!

First of all, a new hair cut is something to smile about! I love it the days following getting my hair did!

Yes, This IS a picture of Kaden's feet that he took him self! I love that he thinks it's cool to take pics!

I think I posted this one before. While Kaden was taking pics that day, he felt it necessary to photograph of his undies in the middle of the floor!

And lastly, it makes me smile when ever the boys are being sweet even if they think no one is watching!

More Fun Summer Nights

After a long day swimming, the kids couldn't seem to get enough time out side! So, tonight...we played with water balloons.

Of course, because I'm so girley...I didn't make many. I kept getting wet. The boys however, had a blast.

I know...I know...enough with the color pop already! Too bad! I love it! I even added a little blur to Brady's pic!

Brady has a friend over tonight...of course he was all about the fun too!

Oh yeah...I totally forgot this part of the night.

No...I didn't take these...the boys did! So, I'm uploading pics and I notice that there are 36 uploading. I think, "That's weird..I just cleaned the card off last night." And then these pop up! That Kaden cracks me up! He's all about taking pictures of himself and then looking at them. And yes, I'm pretty sure that's a door!

Frogs and Sprinkles

Summer nights wouldn't be complete without a little frog catching! Last night, as Tony cut the grass, the boys caught about 6 frogs and put them in the little pool. Of course, Brady didn't want this guy

even touching the frogs. But as we all know...little brothers could care less what big brothers think!

Brady on the other hand, named them all. There were names like Susan (? idk), Nigel, Jessica and Baby Webb. This boy has an imagination like none other!
Fast forward to today......

We had a little SPLASH time at the Collierville Sprinkler park!

I know what you're saying..."That's the skinniest kid I've ever seen!" And it is very true. This is Brady...I had the hardest time catching him looking at the camera! He was way too busy getting drenched. Meanwhile, this guy

was too busy running and spraying others!

We had a great time with our friends today at the park! The best part...it's FREE! I know...awesome. I can't wait to go swimming with them tomorrow!

Something New!

So, I have been secretly blogging on another blog. Well, it's not really a secret to everyone (Amber). But for the most part...it's been a secret! As many of you already know...I have wanted to adopt for years now. After a lunch today with a friend, I'm ready to let the world (my little world that is) know my heart for adoption! I started this blog you are reading now to keep my family informed of what was going on while I was pregnant with Kaden. I started THIS as more like a journal to remind me of all of my prayers even before we started the process. I also want our baby sister to know she was loved a long time before she was even born. So, today I'm ready to post it! I hope you will stop by from time to time especially when we get the ball rolling in our adoption process. I'm sure it will be full of downfalls and victories and I know it will be well worth the wait when we get to meet our baby sister!

I am well on my way to computer education! I have learned yet something else new today!

I love pictures that look like that and have always wanted to know how! I learned from a tutorial by a friend of my mom's. You can check it out on Pinky's blog. I love it! I'm all about learning new things. I am off to play with more pictures! Thanks Pinky!

Help Me! Help Me!

****Update****
I just learned how to make my own background! I love it! Still looking for a name! I made the banner with this alliteration (because I'm an English teacher) and I'm not sure if this is what will stick!

I have been a blogger for nearly 4 years now and I'm coming to the conclusion that I'm just a little too boring! I mean, I have great stories to tell. And my journalism teachers would agree that I'm a pretty good writer. But My blog isn't attractive! I look at all these blogs with cute names and cool headers. I love the little buttons that my friends are starting to make. And I'm a little jealous. So, I'm asking for your help! Help me come up with a name for my little makeover! I have no prizes and no incentives. Just a little love, prayer and lots of praise the the gal that will help me! So, leave a comment of what you think would be a great name for my blog.

Summer is Awesome

There's nothing like a relaxing day by the pool to make a girl feel like a million bucks! Or at least give her a great tan! Today, we opened our new pool (kiddie pool from a box), and invited over the hot chicks to come hang out.

Ok...maybe it was just one chick...and I'm not sure "hot" is the most appropriate way to describe her since she's just five months old! But in her defense, it was really hot outside!

But not so hot that she wanted to be splashed by the boys playing in the pool. I love spending time with this little cutie! I'm not sure if I have introduced her on my blog, this is Arabella Klayre better known as Belle! She is just the cutest, chunkiest thing I have ever seen! In fact, she is so cute she is starting a new trend...baby back fat! While you may feel having little pudges hanging over the top of your swimsuit not so appealing. Belle makes it look adorable! So much so, she is starting a new trend! Back pudge is the new skinny! If you don't already have some, then I suggest you get busy! It's all the rage!
And speaking of all the rage...sweaty baseball boys will never go out of style!

If you don't already have one of these, then you are missing out! Baseball season has finally come to a close and tonight was an amazing one for the books! In the first game of our night, Brady caught a line drive in the air! Yes, I said it...in the air! He got a double play out of that one! They didn't win the tournament, but that didn't matter! With a play like that? Man...just think of the possibilities!

I didn't get one of the play today, these were taken a couple of weeks ago! He looks so serious and like such a big boy! I'm super proud of my boys!

So, the season has come to an end...now we can just chill in the evenings and hang out by the pool during the day!

His Big Day!

Since birth, this child

has looked up to his big brother. He is always carrying around old trophys that Brady has earned. He has played base ball with everything he could get her hands on. It didn't matter. He just wanted to play baseball like his big brother and win a trophy!

His big day came today!

Kaden's first t-ball season was so uneventful it was almost nonexistant! I mean seriously! Nine games were scheduled. 6 were rained out! Two were played while we were out of town....and that leaves ONE big game that he has played to this day! Yes! $65 dollars plus the cost of the shorts and lettering on his uniform and the poor kid got to play one game! It makes me so mad but doesn't seem to bother Kaden! He's had practice and got to wear his uniform a few times. He gets to be the bat boy at his brother's games and he got to play one himself! And the best part...He got his very own TBall trophy!

Here the little star is with his best guy friend. Remember Reagan is his BEST friend! Kaden and Hayden, six days apart, were on the same team and were so proud tonight to be honored in front of their family and team mates!

BTW...he is SUPPOSED to play a make up game tomorrow (Tuesday). I hope that happens because he will be the happiest little guy in all of Mississippi!

What a Difference a Day Makes!

Remember this guy from yesterday?

Yeah, he's the one who was more than mad that his two loving parents wanted to help persuade his loose tooth to let go and be free!
Well...today....he's this guy!

That's right world! Make it be known...on this 14th day of June, 2009, Braden Allen has finally lost a tooth!

Here's how it all went down. After church, he was in his room complaining because he thought he was going to starve to death because it was too hard to eat anything. So, I asked him if I could look at his tooth. Of course, he didnn't want any part of that. I finally convinced his that I was only going to wiggle it! So, I took the gauze and asked him if I could dry it off. The little thing was just holding on by a thread and was going to come out any minute. So, I started "drying" it off so that I could get a good grip. Just when he was about to yell at me for "pulling" the tooth...I had it out! HA! That's right! I am a total Rock Star! At that point he realized that it wasn't going to hurt and wasn't upset at all! Now he just looks so cute everytime I look at him talking while missing a tooth!

So, in honour of my friend Vicki...I am posting a Sunday Dinner fit for a six year old who just lost a tooth!

In an effort to catch the world up on the happenings of the Pillstroms, I am finally posting the final days in Texas!
The Saturday before we left, we wanted to see PJ one more time! So, we headed to the Farmer's Market in downtown San Antonio to meet hime! He's such a neat guy to be around! I love that every Saturday, he gets up early to visit the Market for fresh local veggies to serve that day! That is dedication! I mean, he probably doesn't get home until really late on Friday nights!

Here's PJ choosing dill.
Then Brady helping him choose from the most popular tent at the Market!
They had baby eggplant that PJ wanted.

After the Farmer's Market, we headed to the River Walk. We have been here a million times but it's always fun to see the kids reactions to all the different things.

Here the boys are chilling on a bench to humor their mother so I can get a good picture!

Before we took a tour on the boat...of course, we had to stop by the Alamo to get a pic! Kaden was mad because he wanted to go inside. Maybe next year! I don't think they are ready for a visit from Kaden!

Mom is going to kill me, but this was the only picture I got of her and the boys while we were in Texas! Kaden was super excited to ride the boat. Brady on the other hand, was hot and said he was done about half way through the tour! Oh well!

While we were on the boat ride, we saw a momma duck with her babies! Kaden was so excited! We ended up seeing them three times and I kept trying to get a good picture. He didn't care...he just wanted to be in the picture with them!

A trip to the River Walk wouldn't be complete without a visit to the boys favorite restaurant...The RainForrest Cafe! Brady made me move a bunch of chairs around so he could be a giraffe!
Fast forward to today! after watching his friends lose teeth all school year...It's finally his turn!

Does this look like a kid who is ready?

Let's back up....Brady starts complaining that his loose tooth is bothering him! So, I run and get the camera....

And Tony tells him that he wants to check things out!

Needless to say...the tooth is still hanging on! He said if he knew it was this aweful he would have never wanted to try to lose a tooth!
So no visit from the tooth fairy tonight!
